Can't receive calls

I've been having a heck of a time trying to get anyone to handle the problem I'm having.I don't think I was ported properly from my old phone provider. Is there an actual number I could call to get actual help? The robot is not very efficient in my case .I have been going around in circles looking for help here and I'm at my wife's end.

@Debi1  Did you get your issue sorted? When did you do the porting?

I would assume it is porting form another Mobile provider?  Lately, there has been some people reporting the port can take as much as 4 to 5 hours.. So, in the mean time, keep reboot your phone every 30 mins to see if there is any update

This sounds like a general porting issue, please wait until you get a text on your previous sim to confirm that you porting out. If you have done that then I believe you would have to play the waiting game and it would end up fixing by itself.

Hi @Debi1 ,

If you just ported your phone number from another cell provider it could take a few hours to complete the port. Using the other cell provider's SIM you should be still receiving calls on it, until the port completes.

If you ported from a landline it could take up to 7 days to complete.

Make sure you do not cancel your previous provider's services until the port is complete.

I will private message you the port number.

Not being able to recieve calls means that the number porting isn't done. There is a phone number, but Public Mobiel doesn't always seem to like it being shared. How long has it been since you request the number port?  If it's from another wireless carrier, this can take a few hours. In the meanwhile, continue using your old carrier's SIM card as calls should stil be going there. Tehre's also a text message that you need to respond to for number porting approval.
