Can't buy physical SIM anymore ?

I wanted to purchase a physical SIM card and I noticed the option is NOT available anymore in the dashboard.

Why has Public Mobile removed the option?

What is the current status of Public Mobile selling and shipping SIM cards? How long does it take?

thanks

Looks like it was simply moved from the Addons section, over to the Profile section.

So it's still there.

thanks everyone

HI @BKNS27

i think OP was using the webpage and hence he was checking under Add-ons

I just checked, look like PM removed Shop sim card from the web version of the My Account.  But I also checked the App still has the option to buy sim card.

But unless you have Available funds from rewards to buy sim card for free on My Account, it is cheaper and faster to buy from Amazon, only $4.99 and 2 days shipping

I just checked both website and app.  Still able to purchase SIM card (physical or eSIM).

For website, under Profile section.

For app, under Account.

As mentioned, officially on the website, it can take up to 10 business days to arrive.  Still via Canada Post, no tracking number.

@Raul_Davalos

It is under Accounts not Add-ons.

@Raul_Davalos

you can still buy physical sim card using the app.  Download PM app, go to Account page, and click Purchase sim cad there

Yes, SIMs are available on the PM app under Accounts tab for $10 but it is free with a new subscription plan but shipping may take up to 3 weeks.

You can pick one up from your local Telus/Koodo store as well for the same price.

Cards are also available from Amazon for $4.99 with faster shipping.

on this : https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/en/account/my-plan-add-on

page, there was an option to buy physical SIM. It was there yesterday, gone today.

you can, but it is cheaper to buy it from Amazon or faster to buy it locally from Telus or Koodo stores:
