So, I left the country for 2 months (still not 90 days), and now I am back. I cancelled my PM number, and stopped paying because (I asked here) I thought I had 90 days to come back. However, now I am trying to log in to my old account to get a new phone number, and it won't let me. The reset password form also fails. I know I have the right password, but it's like my account does not exist...
Any idea? Can someone help me? Thanks!

@jmbits Yep, sorry but porting out a number is equivalent to closing your account.
edit: to clarify when you were told you would have 90 days before the account got closed, that simply meant that you could stop paying be removing the payment card or suspending via Lost/Stolen and then you would have 90 days from the last payment due date to come back and top up the account/or Resume service once you were ready to use your phone again. Unfortunately, you've also lost any loyalty/autopay rewards if you were a customer prior to Jan. 25th/2022.

I left it to a friend on a different company so he could answer my calls and handle the payment to keep it active...

Kind of a complex situation... I left the phone number to a friend so he could answer my calls for the two months . He is on a different company, he just did not want to log in on two websites to pay for them, so I just ported it out to his account.

@jmbits how you "cancelled my PM number"?
If you just removed the payment, the account will be suspended and will stay suspended for 90 days. When you come back, you don't need to log in and "get a new phone number". If you login , you can reactivate with the old number
Call 1-855-4PUBLIC, enter your phone number and see if it can locate you number.
If it cannot, then your account was closed already
If it can locate your account, you just need to reset password, just open ticket with PM:
1. For faster response (2-48 hours), Click on the bubble in the lower right to request CS Agent assistance, or use this direct link: https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.
**Start with typing "Forgot Login Information", click "Contact Us", click "Click here to submit a ticket".
2. Or Send a private message to the CS Agent here: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened. CS Agent will reply you there
