I live in New Brunswick but sites I go to are restricted because its putting my IP in Quebec. I want a new IP for my province of New Brunswick not Quebec.

@WeatherLady   ask if any of your friends use Telus and Koodo, I would assume they will have the same Quebec IPs

Check with your friends with other providers as well

VPN worked for about a week and the 403 code for location pops up from Cloud Front via AWS. It days I have to pay to remove...just frustrating

That is what I was told to do for Data access. I'm fine when I'm on WiFi but when I'm on data I get the 403 Restricted code due to my location and the sites I'm using for business do not operate in Quebec and are restricted. Its very annoying when I can't leave my work station and have to.be physically at my.desk. Some gaming sites I play on are all of a sudden not accessible. VPN worked for a bit but now I get the 403 error and something about Cloud Front and AWS through Amazon. Grrr!

@WeatherLady   There is a similar complain about Quebec IPs being used for Nova Scotia subscriber

https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Get-Support/inaccurate-location/td-p/898025

While you can try to turn off Mobile Data for like 15 mins and try to get a new IP when reconnect, I strongly believe you will end up getting an IP based in Quebec.  I think Maritime subscribers all getting Quebec IPs , probably the main system in Quebec is controlling all the Maritimes province as well

Turn on your GPS as well. Some sites will try to locate your position via GPS info instead of just IP location.  Hope it helps

Mobile provider will provide an IP when you get on Internet.  So, the IP you got is related with PM

Sorry but your IP address has nothing to do with Public Mobile.

There could be a link to Public Mobile if the customer is asking about the IP address being provided for mobile data.

There isn't any way to request this from Public Mobile.  Public Mobile assgns an IP address based on availability. You're free to use a VPN.

@WeatherLady   you cannot really choose the IP.   On the east, Telus probably use the same set of IP for everyone in the Maritime provinces

You can try to use VPN if you really don't like the IP you have.  But VPN provider might not give you choices of a New Brunswick IP either
