Can i get a 50% refund on my simcard?

I just got the 2GBBONUS plan today. 

I purchased the simcard about 2 weeks ago. It was 10$. 

Today when I came onto the site to activate my plan, i saw that the promotion now sell the sim card for 5$.

 

Is there any possibility that I can get refunded 5$?

You never know if you dont ask, just message a mod and see. Although I have my doubts. 

Seems like a lost cause....OP won’t respond to where it was purchased. 

OP should go after original seller.

It does not hurt to try. Same as 'I never win lotto... but I never buy a ticket either'.

You can negotiate credit to be added to your account instead of asking for actual $ refund.

If you have bought the SIM from PM then you can ask for a price match 😄 not sure it ll work but worth a try.

A few weeks ago they offered the same.  I ordered 2 one day and 2 more the next day. Both sets couriered to the door out of Calgary received a few days later...and both sets on same day.....but at different times by different driver. Mark your calendar for 2022. 

Point being.....they are giving them away, as is a total loss leader.

when you purchased 1 for $10 or you see 2 for $10, and you received only one,

because that website has a month for that price 2 for $10 and you purchased from public mobile website, or for some store!!

Today they are 2 for $5. 

I guess you can try to get a $5 or $7.50 credit. 

Did you use a referral code for a $10 credit?

Did you get the More the Merrier freebies?

@CountyDownIeUk  - Wow - other than Free SIM (way back when), that is a great deal PM has got going there.

Definitely beats CCS @ $3.99 each today.

@819cookie  - perhaps they can add funds to your Available Funds Balance for any difference in the cost.

 

OR, if you want a spare maybe they will agree to send you a free one...I dunno?

@819cookie  - I am going to say NO, but I am not a Public Mobile representative.

 

So try contacting Customer Support and ask them -good luck.

 

Two ways to contact CSA:

1- Put in a ticket through SIMon Bot (usually faster method to get in contact with the Public Mobile Customer Support) by clicking on the bottom, right chat bubble.

@819cookie   You can try... you have a case, I think.  also, they were doing $10 get 2 SIM not long ago.   PM support are generally nice and understanding and maybe they will credit you the $5 to your account.

Follow these these to get to ticket open page quicker:

  1. type: Contact CS Agent
  2. Click "Contact Us"
  3. Click "Other"
  4. Click "Click here to submit a ticket"
  5. you will then direct to another page to open ticket.

    After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM's CS Agent
