Can/US Subscription change-NOT WORKING

I changed my plan to can/us plan talk, text , picture messaging and it is NOT working unless I have wifi. Completely frustrated. Been travelling for 3 days without any phone.

One of the suggestions worked for me. Make sure it is on T mobile and reboot it.

I have the same issue. Sure wish I could talk to a live person instead of a Chatbot

@Ladybug29 , if you want to transfer the number bad enough, it can be done.  Just need to get support involved.  I have a friend who was with Koodo and tried to join Public Mobile, his number was rejected for transfer in.  He had to go through the porting team to get the job done.

Hi @Ladybug29 

If you have an iPhone go to Settings, Cellular, Network Selection and turn off automatic and pick Tmobile. Then reboot.

@Ladybug29 - Is your data toggle turned on? Turn it on, if not.

Do you have an iphone and using imessage? If so, than you need to ensure you have data left on your plan to use imessage.

If you prefer to use iMessage, then you can perform the following steps to try and fix the issue:

  1. Connect to the internet using WiFi or Data.
  2. Go to Settings > Messages and toggle iMessage OFF.
  3. Turn your iPhone off completely, then turn it back on.
  4. Go back into Settings > Messages and toggle iMessage ON.
  5. Make sure “Send as SMS” is also turned ON.

@Ladybug29  Have you rebooted the phone ? Are you in the US now ? If so make sure your connected to T mobile or AT&T and you have data roaming turned on in phone settings . Also do you know if you have voLTE enabled
