Can I use sim card that I received from March 2023

I bought and received the sim card back in March 2023 but did not activate it as Rogers offered me a retention plan. Just saw the new $34 Can/US plans and finally decided to jump on board to Public Mobile. 

As I just subscribed to the plan and ordered a new, free sim card, can I use and activate the one that I received back in March 2023?
