Hi, I recently subbed to the plan that includes 5g data but my phone is older and can only access up to 4g. Would I be able to downgrade to 4g and keep my plan?
Edit: nevermind! Figured it out.

1) There aren't necessarily 4G versions of every 5G plan
2) It doesn't matter anyway because you can use a 5G plan on a 4G phone without issue.

@Help-please , the others that responded misread your post. Sorry.
Yes, you can keep your plan. Many Customers have a 5G Plan & use their phone set on 4G/LTE. It works fine. Saves on battery also. You figured it out though 😉 I do the same thing.

You can switch to a 4G plan anytime but switch on your next renewal date.
But you will find that you plan might be a better deal if you got it on a promo deal.
Your phone will just connect to 4G if you are in a 5G coverage area.

you can upgrade or downgrade to any currently offered plan whenever you wish. Just be sure to know if you select Change Now...you'll pay now and there's no refund or pro-rating of accounts. Best is to Change at Renewal.
