Can I remove this number from the account and add another number?

Planning on porting out, but i want to port in another line number. Can I do transfer Transfer Phone Number found in my account settings so they can take over the benefits of my account and not buy a new sim again? Or will they have to purchase a new sim and a new plan? In addition, completely separate from the topic, can old sims be reused? like sims that were once public and then left can be rewritten??

THIS option is only for porting IN to pm. Not out. So this will be for them if they are porting in from another service provider. If they don't have a number, they can go into the account and choose a new one. They can choose a different number once a week up to 4 times a month till then find a number they like. I just did that myself and it took me 3 week and got the perfect number. 🙂

Basically, the number you have now, it's gone if your family member take it over.  You just have to start fresh. You never know, you may find a better number you like better. Just keep refreshing the page till you find one you like.

Unfortunately you cant port your number out without canceling your account.

It's a family member, so im fine with not changing all the rest of the info, But then what is the transfer number option in account? i have added an image here

Easy answer for the "reuse sim cards"... no. One time use only.

Once you port out your number to your account, the account and everything with it is gone. Nobody can take it over. If you want a friend to take over your account, that can be done by changing all the info their name and credit card info, passwords, email...  all that stuff. But then they get your number. However, they can change the number to another one if they like.

sorry @jhonr they need new sim and new plan.  once you ported out the number, you account will be closed, no exception and no workarounds
