Can I receive text sms in $20 Unlimited Talk plan for 30 days?

Am I eligible to receive free incoming text sms in $20 Unlimited Talk plan for 30 days? When someone send me text what will happen if I am in that plan?

@duferdous my dad is on the $20 plan. When someone sends him a sms he gets a notification of an sms bubut he is unable to see the sms. He does receive public mobile (system) sms.

As mentioned

1) get the 25$ plan

2) 10$ plan and you get 50 sms and 50 minutes. You can add more minutes by buying the long-distance add-on minutes  but you can't add additional sms.

For an extra $5, you can add all the incoming and outgoing texts as well as the talk plan that you already enjoy. Pretty good deal, eh.

I am pretty sure that you will not be able to receive the text on the talk only plan.

You need an active text feature on your plan to receive SMS and MMS. So in order to get incoming texts as well as the car unlimited talk, you have to sign up for the $25 unlimited provincial talk and unlimited international text.

If you only use your phone for emergencies and the occasional incoming SMS you could go with the $10/50min/50text plan, supplemented with 400 LD minute but add-on.

Public Mobile does not provide pay per use minutes or texts ( or data for that matter), you have to prepay for one of the above options to have access to the feature.
