Can I receive text messages and phone calls in China and Europe countries?

Can I receive text msg and calls when I travelling to China and Europe countries, I won't use data. And how does it cost me? I mean the roaming rate. My current plan is 15 CAD/month. Thank you. @CS_Agent

You can kind of indirectly get calls and texts out of country. First get that voip app mentioned. Then set your call forwarding to that number. Don't let the sim see a US tower. Texts are trickier. You would need to install a text forwarding app and have the sim in a phone left in Canada.

Then wherever you are and connected to the internet, calls and texts can come to you on the voip app.

PM only has roaming service in US and no where else

Use local prepaid data sim and use VoIP app like TextNow to make and receive calls/text as a workaround
