If it is Visa debit card you can
Some prepaid cards like vanilla will work.
Koho seems to be great, they list public mobile as partner and they give 2.5% cashbacks on public mobile payments. There is also no fees, no charge fees either.

@CannonFodder I hope you are not holding your breath until that happens, though... I think that call has been out for something like 3+ years or so.

They'd have even more customers if they did enable interac, that's a whole new market for them to tap, alot of folks use it.
Edit: got hella ninja'd

Exactly - they are very antiquated in that regard.
Also there are many people who don't have a VISA or any credit card.

Hearty "Amen" to that prayer. In the meantime, calm in the face of adversity. 🙏

@sweden06 and @Staliger : have either of you had success paying with a standard debit card?
Debit...not credit. LovesToPM provided the official line. I've read of people successfuly using a Mastercard Debit although it's not official.
So I'm interested to know if you both have paid with standard normal debit.
I only ever topped up my account with my old Visa Debit before I switched to my credit card.

As you said, anything that works like a credit card, yes. Interac direct no.
