Can I get a 5G new plan with a 4G or LTE+ phone? Will my data still working on LTE+ ?

I have an LTE phone and I'm thinking switching to the new 5G plan now and get a new phone later. Will 5G works on my old phone LTE?

@Veni   the 5G plan will work on your LTE phone , but the speed would not be max at the 5G speed.  However, the speed will likely be better than the max 4G plan speed  (100Mbps)
