I want to be able to log in with the 2FA not going to the phone number which is actually in service with the PM Sim card.
I looked at https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Get-Support/Eversafe-log-in/td-p/993410
But am still not sure.
I suspect the phone number in eversafe was just the cell that is on that account as a default, but I just want to be sure that if I edit it there, it's not going to affect that cell phone at all. The only difference will be that when I try to log in, it texts a different number to get the 2FA?

as said above, you can change the number to get the EverSafe 2FA code. But please note the new number you put in there must not tie with another Eversafe account at the moment, ie, one number can only tie with one EverSafe account
to change it, login to My Account, and click Mange EverSafe ID from Profile

@dacdoter1 , Yes, you can use a different phone # on your EverSafe. I was using my TextNow phone # on my EverSafe which worked fine with no issues. Then I removed that phone # & now I just have it sent to my email instead which I have no issues with either.

You can enter any number you want to text you the 2FA code... that accepts text messages that is.
