my CC was expired so I updated it any idea how long it takes to come into effect

In the situation of service being suspended from not paying, updating payment information doesn't cause service to resume.  In such cases, payment needs to always be made manually.

Reboot your phone by powering off then back on after the manual payment.

if your account already suspended, after successfully adding the credit card, you need to make a manual payment.  Please make a payment here
