Calling not working - "Talk is not included in your plan"

Ever since i ported in my phone number, i cant make or receive calls. If i try to make one i hear an automated 'talk is not included in your plan' and i know for a fact it is. All incoming go straight to voicemail. I have tried power cycling, removing my sim card, etc. Its been like this for days. What do i do?

I too have the same issue.  My credit card was only charged $120.  I come from freedom mobile and I chose the unlimited province wide talk/text plan with 6GB data.  Only data is working.

 

Please I need help.  I need to have the talk/text working.  Is this the type of service we can expect from Public Mobile?

I have the pay $120 for 3 months and bonus 12G data. Texting and data is working fine, just calling won't work. I have a samsung s7 edge so the phone isn't old or anything. Still haven't gotten a reply from moderators 😞 I don't know what to do

When you are at the self serve portal, what plan do you have?

Are you able to send/receiver text and using data by adding the correct apn? 

 

It might be few models of phone need a reset before you can use it, however dont do it without a backup first.  and try other solution first.

I had the same problem, resolved it by adding money to my account as it only charged my credit card $120 initially when I created the plan, I added the taxes and then changed the plan to the unlimited province and international text and 6gb per month as the plan that showed up on my account was the $10 30 day plan for some reason. Then I ported my number from Freedom, but I still cant see the bonus 12gb in my account, hopefully I see it soon otherwise I'm going to be real bummed out as the rules state you need to port at time of activation except something was wrong with my port, I was given a different number, and I had to port again after activation. If that's not the same problem you are facing wait till you hear from a mod dont do what I suggested, and good luck 🙂
