hello there,
My partner has gifted me an iPhone 16, which I'm thankful for. I've went ahead and signed up for Public Mobile yesterday, under the Mexico included plan.
For some reason, data service is still not working; Mobile data doesn’t work, even though the plan includes it.
I've checked the aps setting; I understand it is supposed to be "sp.mb.com" ?

Chances are, it is a settings issue. You received an expensive high end phone. Instead of fumbling around in the Community or seeking/waiting for an online reply from a PM customer agent, you should go to your nearest Apple Store. They should have you up and running right away. Or the next best thing is to get assistance from a tech savvy 12 year old nephew or niece.

Are you in Mexico right now? USA or Canada?
Might want to try to reboot your phone. Network reset of phone (note: this will erase any saved Wifi passwords).
With iPhones, normally don't need to adjust APN settings since automatic.
