I'll try and keep this short..
I dropped my phone in water and it wouldn't turn on afterwards... Galaxy S8
I put it in rice for 48 hours after tearing it apart, it worked and phone is working again
Can this be done? In the future.. I have a Fongo phone number also. I was using my laptop to make phone
calls, not desktop app, ran it thru android emulator
Can I forward my PM number to Fongo during these times?
If so, would it be as easy as placing my SIM card in my wifes' phone and enabling Call forwarding?
I'm assuming with SIM in her phone I would
Dial '*21*' + ten-digit phone number + '#' + SEND
And don't laugh, I'm also assuming SEND is my phone dial button on the dialpad?
I hope that makes sense
Thanks, Bill

Thanks everyone
The rice thing worked for me and my brother also... Mind you I did a tear down of my phone and left it 48 hours to absorb moisture, removed any residual rice and gave parts a shot of compressed air, especially in the charging port...
I'm using Bluestacks 5 for emulator... comes in handy... Can also run Blink security app on it which is useful to me

@bill_b curious, which Android emulator you are using??
I think Fogo used to have desktop app, bit I think they pull it away

You can insert your PM SIM card in any working phone and always call forward to your Fongo number or any number. Your PM SIM card does not need to be online after setting up the call forwarding again until you cancel it.

@bill_b yes you can. Put the sim in another phone and setup the forward there. No issue forwarding to Fongo , just like forward to any other phone number 🙂
So, the rice thing works? I heard mixed result
