Call connection is very poor

I am finding recently that my connection when making phone calls is very poor. Often people are unable to hear me clearly, and it has been the case a number of times over the past few months where I miss a call because my phone has not even rung, as if it went straight to voicemail for no reason. Has anyone else had this problem?

@mstoughton1  Try resetting your network settings . Or try the network on 3G 4G/LTE or even 5G see if that helps with voice and signal and test in different areas
