Prepaid end of last month for this/ "the next month...... lost all service suddenly today, no matter where I go, only wifi works. All cell data gone. Of 77GB... in like 6 days? My phone says < 4GB used.
It forced me to change my name in the middle of chatbot thing, and the chatbot refused to put me in contact with a human. It just cycled / circled around to "Contact Us".
-_- Normal stuff I can resolve. This needs official support on the back end.
Phone worked until early am today May 25 2026. Worked late last night, 1-3am. Service suddenly gone, no cell data from 8am today.
Dawg, I paid ahead. In full. Sometimes seceral months. Might've been homeless / without money 2 months in 6 years of service. What the **bleep**. Not even a heads-up that cell data is offline for maintenance. Not mad, just super disappointed the rug pulled out from underneath me when I thought paying ahead covered me.

Fwiw this was an oddity that was temporary, 24 or so hours, and ended on its own at 536am. There is no conclusion, no explanation, just randomly no service.
I don't even know if Public Mobile was the one restoring service, or if it was beyond their control (e.g. spooky sun stuff) and just ended on its own.
No explanation, just no cellular data or calls for ~24 hours. HOWEVER, the attempt to contact or communicate with PM in some way is correlated at least with the timing of it being resolved.
2nd attempt unknown, tbh, bc the first ticket went through, and issue resolved in some unknown way in ~24h.
Unfortunately a day w/o service with no warning and no explanation, but fortunately service returned, on contact with the company.
Conclusion: oddity but resolved with contact and relative patience/politeness during a sharp, sudden unknown.
My name also, thankfully, was changed back (it changed during a bit of a yap to chatbot, to something less savory/pleasant, be careful of that focal vision, future reader, lol) 😅🙏😇

As-noted, they were back end support for subsidiary companies. Not retail, not sales (2 different departments).
And, as-noted, the office is permanently closed, lol.
Still sent a 2nd message to PM support, just in case your suggestion works. 🙏

No, the number was for back end support with subsidiary companies. I had called them before, in 2022 and 2023, and gotten forwarded somewhere that resolved a different back end issue.

HI @senmingwu
the number was for retail sales, they won't help with support issue

Yeah there is an official Telus number for smaller subsidiary companies. 🙂 However their office is now closed even on weekdays, i.e. permanently closed.
I worked retail phone sales before and knew such a thing existed. It is a publicly available number, too.

Please message PM agent again

Did send support ticket already but nothing seems to be in the account for active support tickets, did call - phone line office closed permanently apparently, and the next best I'd been advised of is "@CS_Agent" explaining in the Community what happened.
