@acarey Sorry PM doesn’t support Apple Watch , but you Bluetooth it your phone and use it that way

How adventurous and techy are you. I wonder if a whole other account can be created and apply the esim of that account to the watch using the app on the watch. If the watch can run the app.
I'm not an Apple guy though so I don't know.

while eSIM is now available for phone, PM does not support data access on Smartwatch. To support data on smartwatch, it needs some other licenses and servers. You can also use your smartwatch with standalone data on Tier 1 or 2 providers like Koodo or Telus

Public mobile does not have smartphone data plans.
However, you can synch your apple Watch to your iphone which is on PM plan.

Your watch will have connectivity when you have it close to your phone. But if you leave your phone at home your watch will not be able to connect to cellular as PM doesn’t have any cellular plans for wearables.
