Any update on the may 7th issue?

My renewal date is tommorrow but in the bottom under autopay it has a renewal date of may 7th any updates thanks

@RossN, go with the suggestion proposed by @geopublic. It doesn't cost more.

 

I have a theory on what caused the May 7 AutoPay date.

 

The problem happened on system maintenance of April 7, exactly 30 days before May 7.

 

During the system maintenance of April 7th, if you had no plan changes in the last bill cycle, your AutoPay date is set incorrectly as May 7th.

I suspect this will impact considerably more customers in the upcoming weeks, especially those who rely on AutoPay and haven't been consulting Community forums.

Public Mobile should be notifying these customers via text message. I am also notifying friends and family to check their accounts.

It would be great for you if they forget to charge you until May 7.  You would get free service.

 

How do you know your renewal is tommorow if it says May 7?  Maybe, it already renewed?  Public Mobile plans are not month long, but 30 days.

Just make a manual payment and the dates will sync up. More info here:
