I read the existing topics on the question but none could provide a solution. I tried leaving a voicemail to myself successfully, but still no notification would pop up.
Is there an option somewhere in the voicemail menu that I need to change?
Thanks

Apps like cm security can block notifications! Check phone notification settings as well as any security apps you may have

Yeah, I couldn't really make out what was done. It's like the tech support did something but not from the user side. So atm there's nothing for me to try.

So summarizing the two referenced threads, the solution is to contact the moderators, who perform some kind of voicemail reset on the network side, and after they indicate they have done such, you reboot your phone afterwards.

You are welcome. So is your problem fixed? And which, if any, suggestion worked?

@TapaTapa Open your phone app. Click on the 3 dots, choose settings, voicemail, notifications. See if there's anything in there turned off.

I use an alternative voicemail service called youmail that also blocks spam calls etc, it's always consistent with notifying me of new messages, even transcribes them free. That's my personal work around.

Did you call and set up your voicemail?
