Am I charged a LD Rate if I don't have an add-on?

My wife calls the states only a few minutes a month and doesn't require an add-on. Will she be charged a per-minute rate?

@MaR2307 just to clarify, there is no such thing as per-minute, per-message, or per-MB pay-per-use billing at Public Mobile.  Everything at Public Mobile is is pre-pay.  You get exactly what you pay for and you pay for exactly what you get, no more and no less.

You can buy this add-on and as long as your account is active, it doesn't expire until it's used up by you. You will never be charged an overage because it's prepaid by you. Good luck.

If the call is outside of your calling package, PM just doesn't place the call for you. It gives you a canned message saying that you need to purchase the related package. Your best bet is to buy an International/US calling addon and just let that ride on the account until it runs out (topping up just before that happens).

Does she have the Canada US calling plan?  You either need that plan or a LD add-on or the call won't go through.  You can't be charged a per minute rate on prepaid you either have it out you don't

She will not be able to call.buy the  200 min add-on . It will last untill the minutes are consumed 1 yr 2 years etc

Edit the above applies if you have provincial or Canada Wide calling
