I just transferred my old number from bell to public mobile and it was successful. Now, im just wondering if i need to cancel my bell line on my own or if it occurs automatically and if so, how long it takes. Thanks!

@18kwonro it happens immediately upon the completed port as mentioned above by @CannonFodder , Welcome to PM.

@18kwonro Once your port completes your bell account automatically cancels. If it's postpaid it will be prorated. You may still owe money or you may get a refund.

Automatically but you'll need to pay the bill for usage if it's postpaid Bell.

@18kwonro From what I understand of it, based on what other folks around have said repeatedly, once your PM service is fully working, and your Bell SIM no longer works, your Bell account is automatically terminated.

U don't need to cancel, it happens automatically.
