I particularly like the Prepaid / No Overages part. Thus I don't have to worry about messing up and dropping dead when I get the bill!

The ease of changing plans every month is big for me too as At cabin time in the summer (In a normal year) I bump up to at least $40 5Gb plan then back down to the $15 or $25 plan in the off season. So far my off season that started last October is now at 12 months long though with no end in site. Saving money an cell plan and tossing it to the wind on what the cabin costs per year to get no use out of.

Agree.  There is no point to pay for a cellphone service when you need it the most and cannot find any signal.  If you are DIYer, you can lower your phone bill with PM rewards.
