Try rebooting your phone and see if that helped. Plus as others have recommended to connect to one of the US network and enable VoLTE on your phone.

hi @Ross8 what phone do you have? if your phone is not on PM's VoLTE whitelist, voice might not work
A workaround is to use VoIP app like TextNow to make voice calls using the app

@Ross8, try manually connecting to T-Mobile, and if that still doesn't work try changing your network band to 2G. The issue is very likely that your phone is not on PM's whitelist of VoLTE devices. Do not buy an add-on as that will not help
*edit* I forgot to ask if you have one of the Canada/US plans? If so they above applies. If you do not have a Canada/US plan then you would need a roaming add-on
