As @Dunkman so eloquently 😉 TRIED to say, autopay does sometimes fail - there have been NUMEROUS threads about the topic on these forums, with 2 or 3 so far today. Fortunately, either due to some intelligent reasoning, or simply researching the topic on these forums, or due to @Dunkman 's advice, you figured out how to fix your own problem. 👍
As for this, "The main issue is that this has never happened since I signed up, that was the first time I have come across this!", I've read a couple of threads with the same issue, that happened to people that have been on autopay FOR YEARS without incident, and then, WHAM, autopay failed. The prevailing wisdom around here, is to manually add sufficient funds to your account, 2 or 3 days before your monthly(30 days) renewal date, which should keep your account from experiencing autopay failure, while leaving your credit card info on the account, to keep your monthly $2 autopay credit intact.

You can try to reactivate your plan. Or manually load up the funds needed for renewal.
Well that would be a dead issue then.

The main issue is that this has never happened since I signed up, that was the first time I have come across this! But I was able to reactive it!
