I bought a SIM card from a Telus store and tried to activate it. It is more than 20 minutes that the app stops at step 3. What should I do? Thanks.
Also does the service is a prepay service? How can I pay?

Try to install it on a different device and proceed with the activation there.
As far as payment, during the activation you'll be prompted to enter a credit card. That card can be used for 'top-ups' which can occur automatically after the 30 day cycles have ended. This way, you have seamless service from one cycle to the next.
Another option is to purchase payment vouchers, available at many retail locations such as drug stores and gas stations and food supermarkets, and apply them to the account before each renewal to cover the renewal costs.
