I just purchased a mobile plan with public mobile and waiting for SIM card to be delivered. Since my current plan won't be expired until a few weeks later, I am thinking to activate my new public mobile SIM card when it is a few days to my current plan expiration date. My questions are:
1. is there a time limit that I have to activate my new SIM card after I receive it?
2. when does public mobile begin to charge my subscription? after purchasing the plan or after activating the SIM card?
Thanks so much!

hi @AlanT no time limit, you can wait for sim to come and complete activation
2. PM charged you already, but plan cycle won't start until you put in the sim card number and complete the activation
if a week and still not see the sim card in mail, think about get the sim in Telus store in person and ask support to pay back

I did that. My Sim card came in 2 days, but I waited about 2 weeks before I went in and selected the plan and activated. I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue.

@AlanT You can activate when ever you want PM will charge you right away and the plan won’t start untill you activate the SIM card . And remember you need to activate on the app not the website
