Hello. I have seen similar threads, but the answer is not clear.
I want to activate a new account from USA with the unlimited roaming package. Is this possible? I have a Canadian billing address, Canadian credit card, but right now I'm in USA.
I understand I can get an eSIM online or using the app. Maybe I need to use a VPN or Proxy, that's no problem.
But does the first usage/activation of the SIM need to be in Canada? In other words, do I first need to connect to Public Mobile cell towers in Canada to get the service activated and working before I go to USA or Mexico? Or can I do everything from USA without ever going to Canada?
If it has to be activated on Canadian towers, I'll get a friend to help set it up in Canada, and then I'll register a new eSIM on my phone in USA. Will there be any issues with that? It seems like a straighforward eSIM transfer to a new phone. Perhaps it would be more foolproof and easy to just have the physical SIM mailed to me, but I prefer getting an eSIM since I have multiple SIMs already and only one physical SIM slot in my phone.

it is possible to activate PM account with eSIM in US for a Canada/US or Canada/US/Mexico plan. Some people activated in US and confirmed without trouble
so, just download PM app, create an account and activate esim that way.
