Activated account and transfer a new sim card

Hello

I just activated my account around an hour ago and wondering at what step should I insert my new sim card and remove the old one?

I already received a message from my old provider and accepted the transfering

you can keep reboot your phone with the former carrier sim card.  Once you see it is no longer working (SOS), the port is done and you can use your PM sim card.  Remember to best both in and out calls
