Not everyone know, Public Mobile makes the ported number work right away for outgoing.  That doesn't mean it's finshed.  Keep using your Fido sim until it stops working. When it stops, put Public sim in and see if incoming works. Public also sends a text to say it's finshed.

Login to you self-serve account and select

[Plan and Add-Ons]--> [Change Phone Number] --> [Transfer a wireless or wireline number ]

If you are porting a Koodo prepaid number to PM, you need to send a private message to moderator to port your Koodo prepaid number because PM and Koodo prepaid are sharing the same backend.

Can you offer more details?

Have you tried already?

Porting from Fido can be done via self service account.  Just need your Fido phone number, account number and account holder name.  Ignore the other pieces of information such as IME, PIN, etc.  Porting should be done within 1-2 hours max from Fido.

@kngkrntz  Login into selfserve select the change phone number option enter the port details and wait for the port to complete.
