About the SIM card shipping

Du2

Hello,

Today I open an account and ask for a SIM card shipping. But I found the SIM card will shipped by Canada post. Now the Canada Post is on strike. Will it affect my sim card shipping? I want to get the SIM card as soon as possible. How to deal with it? Thank you very much!

hi @Du2

you can certainly ask. Explain to them about the strike issue and you have to pick up another one.  You can submit by direct message:

Remember CS_agent will reply to your Community inbox within 2 to 4 hours, please check your inbox here:

The store will charge $10.  As for a refund for the SIM card ordered from the Public Mobile website, you will need to arrange that with a customer support agent.

hi @Du2

even without Canada Post strike, we do not suggest to order it from PM as it takes long for them to ship

So, better to buy a PM physical sim card form Telus or Koodo store or via Amazon:

 Telus or Koodo store https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/pick-up-SIM
Amazon.ca https://www.amazon.ca/Public-prepaid-postpaid-Activate-Allinone/

I have not heard anything from Public Mobile if they are now using a different shipping company.  I'll say that it's unlikely that they are simply queining the envelopes up for sending by regular mail, or at least I would hope not.

@Du2

best to get one coming from Amazon or if there's a Mobile Klinik in your area, call 'em and go pick it up.
