8.5gb data

I pay for the 8.5gb of data,and I just got a 95% usage of data txt. .but it says I've only used 2.14gb of data. So it's giving me a warning for the 3gb plan when I'm not on that plan. Any ideas?

@Melissacalvyn check your "overview" in your self serve account. what does it say?. sometimes public send incorrect texts. if everything in your account looks good, then just ignore it

@Melissacalvyn , could it be the monthly reporting cycle for data usage on the phone not lining up with the 30 renewal cycle for Public Mobile?  Anyway, if you are using an android phone, data witness PM app comes highly recommended for monitoring data usage.  It was developed by a Public Mobile customer.

Hello @Melissacalvyn ,

 

Is this 95% usage message coming from a text from Public Mobile or a message from your device?

DATA on phone and setting same as PM dates

 

If it is Public Mobile, go by what your remaining data shows in your self serve account, and I would ignore the message your received from PM.

 

If it is your device, turn off the notification your phone is set on or change it to match your Plan dates (note PM has 30 day plans, not monthly).

Check your self serve account under your usage history.  If you still need assistance then submit a ticket to a moderator by clicking on the question mark on the bottom right corner.
