5g coverage & hotspot question

publicsteve1
Good Citizen / Bon Citoyen

I'm thinking of upgrading to the 5g /100Gb/$50 plan from my 2.5Gb $35 plan. Not just because my plan is out of date - I have a seasonal property with an expensive Bell wireless internet subscription, and I'm thinking I can save some money by using my phone as a hotspot when I am there. I believe the service there is 4g, rather than 5g but that should still be fast enough to stream TV. Anybody see a problem with this idea?

HI @publicsteve1

Yes, it should work.

PM does not block hotspot, so you can use it

Even with 5G plan, you can access 4G network and get speed like 200Mbps on the 4G network.  So, as long as your seasonal property have 4G signal, it will work great
