5GB signup bonus

Hi all, I joined Public quite awhile ago.  I was supposed to get a 5GB data bonus but I never got one, at least not that I saw.  Is there any way to check?

@BCCanuck  so, you still not see the 5GB Bonus every appear ?

 

I guess best is to contact CS Agent and have them to check if they ever add it or if they aware you are eligible in the beginning.  Depends on how far back, honest, there is no guarantee they can add it back even it was missed

Hi, thanks for your response.  No, I’ve checked off and on for the last few months.  I have 5GB on my plan and I’ve rarely hit my limit.  In fact this month is the first time I’ve ever used it all.  That’s what prompted my query.

So many questions, lol.

First, check through your Self-Serve usage history and/or your phone history. Be certain that you didn't already receive and (somehow) already consume the 5GB.

 

Then, your best bet is to submit a ticket through the Simon chatbot or to send a private msg to the Public Mobile Mods CSAs. They'll need to know details like the account activation date, which promo you wanted, and any promo codes you might have used. You might have not received a promo/signup bonus you qualified for, or you might not have qualified because of a cut-off date or province-only deal, both of these things happen to people, Public Mobile can't fix problems they don't know about.

@BCCanuck   How long was "quiet awhile" ago?  what kind of promo was that? Was that a PM promotion or a promotion from individual store like Mobile Klinik or CCS? 

 

did you logon to My Account and you don't see it as one item on the Overview Tab-> My Data& Add-On section?     Since it might be quiet awhile, I wonder if any chance it was there and you already used up?

 

Yes, you can certainly open a ticket with PM to confirm if they ever add the 5GB on your account.  Depend on how far back was it, they can probably see if it was ever added.  But if it was too long ago, not sure they can add it back
