5G internet plan with 4G cellphone

Hello , I am new to public mobile . I recently transferred bought a 5G data plan , and my number is finally transferred to the SIM card but I can’t connect the internet . I am wondering if it’s because I need a 5G cellphone to access 5G internet ? The APN setting is correct . I could make a phone call and receive phone call but I can’t access internet for some reason .

@ChiaYuan   In Settings - Cellular - Cellular Data Options - Voice & Data, what setting has the check mark?

I got iPhone 11 for the 5G plan .. I checked my APN is correct

hi @ChiaYuan your 4G phone would work perfectly with the 5G plan

what phone do you have?

it could be account setup problem, ask support to check

Using the 5G network isn't required.  Public Mobile 5G plans give access to the 5G, LTE, and HSPA networks.
