I got a new Public Mobile SIM card in store today as I was worried if I purchased it online, it would not arrive in time for me to activate it before their promotion ends.
I paid a full $10+tax in store today, but the site states that if the new activation takes place before January 4th, 2022, I would get the SIM card at 50% off.
Will Public Mobile Credit $5 back to my account?

That promotion for 50% off SIM card is for online purchases only from the PM official web site.
In store SIM purchases like from Walmart or other in store deals are not included in the sale.

@WYCNewUser oh, I see okay. Well, Public Mobile really has no obligation to credit you any value of the cost of a SIM card purchased at Walmart.
In fact, it is nice to hear Walmart let you purchase a SIM without making you activate it in store.
So were you able to activate it in December and get the More than Merrier addons given away from Public Mobile?
And hopefully a referral code was used too, to credit you $10 on your next renewal.
OH, do you mean this offer that goes to January 4th? an Extra 2GB on a plan $35 or more?

@WYCNewUser - if you purchased a Public Mobile SIM card from a retail store for $10, the only location that would be worth asking for a credit from is the store you purchased it at. As retailers tend to work kind of independant from Public Mobile (the company), so they set their own rules/prices, if you will.
So Customer Support Agents (CSA) have no obligation to refund you any portion of this transaction from a separate source.
Now if you were talking about a SIM card you ordered online with Public Mobile that may be a different story.
I am curious about 50% off SIM card before January 4th. Can you post a screenshot of where you saw this or it was advertised?

Creating a ticket with support agents can get the answer you are looking for.
Sometimes the online buying is for the promotion only.

Unfortunately that offer is only if you ordered from public mobile. But the holiday gifts are more than worth the extra $5 you paid for your sim card. If you are wanting the 2GBBONUS promocode promotion you have to activate your account yourself online as in store activations only get that promotion for 6 months.

I doubt that you will get a refund since you made your purchase from a retailer.
You could have got a free PM SIM if you get it activated from LD, Walmart or Loblaws Mobile stores.

where it said that?
I know the site is now $5 for 2 SIMs
Honest, I doubt they will credit you back the SIM when you got it in store
