3G to 5G sim card still compatible?

Sim is the original one, started with a 3G plan, upgraded to 4G plan, stilll works perfectly. However, just upgraded to 5G (Canada/USA deal). Will this sim still work with the 5G plan?

I had the 3G plan then upgraded to 5G. Has been using the same SIM, getting 5G signals, no issue at all.

Yes, SIM is 3/4/5G compatible.
