Hi,
Do I understand correctly that after PM eliminates 3G only short list of devices for which PM supports VoLTE would be able to make and receive calls?
Calls can't be placed over 5G network right now?
What are now expectations of when 3G phaseout happens? I read "after the end of 2025", but it's really close, like "after tomorrow".
Thank you.

@Mepew It's said to be by the end of 2025 in some online articles but I don't think that has actually been publicly confirmed by any of the Canadian carriers from what I've read here. It's already phased out in the USA which is why we are getting a lot of questions about why is roaming not working there from people with non-VoLTE capable/enabled phones.

That means those who want to use PM network after 3G shutdown are limited to tiny list of VoLTE supported devices?
Does someone have any realistic 3G phaseout timeline expectations like "at least 5 years", "at most 15 years" etc?

When the 3G network gets shut down, calls will have to be placed on 4G using VoLTE or when it becomes available, 5G using VoNR. No official date has been set that I'm aware of, just penciled in for the next couple years.
