Good Day,
I am currently on the $40/mth US/Canada 75G plan... its great... but I NEVER come close to using 75 gigs and the new Cyber Monday plan of $35 US/Canada/Mexico 50G is SO much better for me... but once I log in to my PM account, that option does not show up for me to change my subscription to... Why? I need to change this please.

@ReidW be aware that when making plan changes that you will have the option to "Change now" or "Change on renewal". Change now means you will be immediately switched to the new plan but will also be bill for the new plan in full so you will lose any days/data remaining and there is no refund or prorating. If you choose Change on renewal you will need to wait till when you subscription ends in order to be switched over, so this really depends on how many days you have left on your current plan

HI @ReidW
there is no such rule to number of plan change per year. You can make as many plan change as you like
and the government body won't take this complain. Carriers are allowed to offered plans to different customers new or existing. Every mobile carrier is playing this game.

So if I'm reading this right... to play the PM game, I need to Change my Subscription to a lesser valued plan, then log back in and change it again? Aren't you only allowed 2 changes every year or 6 months?... anyway, this is not cool PM!! This is not acceptable that they'd require me to pay more... I think I'm going to take this to CRTC and make a complaint. Not a good way to do business making us play games like this just to save money in an economy like this!!

@ReidW we all agree with you on that, plans should be available to all. If you don't have any friend referrals you could port out to another carrier and then if you wanted to come back you would be treated as a new customer and could pick any plans including the "new subscriptions only" plans but you will need to get a new SIM and you will need to use a different email address. For many it's just a hassle

Hello @ReidW
Please take some time and message customer service and ask them you'd like this plan.

all mobile providers are like this, the best deals are for new activations.

Thank you Slusagm for your response...
I see that in the small print its for 'New Subscriptions Only'... Why? Thats not fair, nor appropriate in that I'm trying to save money and the only way to have Mexico a part of my plan is to spend more... thats not right!

HI @ReidW
the $35 roaming plan is not available for everyone
You don't see it now but there is a workaround to unlock it if you see the $30 plan there on your My Account
You can first pick $30 plan and do a Change Now plan change , which of course you need to pay now and the remaining days on your current cycle will be wasted. With this, you might be able to unlock the $35 roaming plan, and you can then schedule a plan change on the following renewal day

@ReidW unfortunately this is how PM has been doing it, targeted plans based on what you currently have which means it's easy to upgrade to more expensive plans but very difficult to downgrade as they seem to only offer 1 or 2 cheaper plans and they are not usually much cheaper. We have heard from another customer recently that they were able to switch to a cheaper plan and afterwards they were able to see some different plans available to them

the $35 and $29 US/Canada/Mexico plans are only available to some subscribers but not all
