I am curious about switching to public mobile. But am looking at the addon and wondering if there was an addon that included calling Switzerland. And if so is it included in this package deal? Thank-you for your Help.

Here's another couple of options for you, @Lympiridae 

1. Because all texting here is FREE to ANYWHERE in the world and users can RECEIVE calls from anywhere in the world, you can text the individual you're looking to speak with in Switzerland and ask that they call you should they have the option to call Canada.
2. If you're using an iPhone or Android device, you can use (with Wi-Fi or data) the devices native apps to place a VoIP call using apps such as Apple FaceTime or Google Duo or Meet calling.

So while international calling and associated add-ons can be 'nice', they have long since lived out their purpose with today's device capabilities.

Switzerland is not part of the long distance add-on, these are the counties on the add-on list

Calls must originate from Canada.

I don't believe any of the offered long distance calling add-ons include Switzerland. I currently have some similar add-ons from previous holiday bonuses, and just tested a call to Switzerland and it didn't work either.

As such - you'll have to look at 3rd party options like TextNow, Rebtel, Goldline.
