I went to cancel and got a retention offer. If you're thinking the same, check it out. If you select the Unsubscribe button (under Manage Subscription), then select a reason you're unsubscribing, on the next page you may get a retention offer of $3 off for 6 months. Not sure if it depends on the plan you have, but that was my offer.

that promotion was generally for people with plans $30 and above, and PM only had that for a day or two. Probably it was too much discussion in other forums and too many people got the free money

nothing for me here, i guess my plan is too low?

Thank you for the tip DennyCrane! I will check it out. May stop me from looking elsewhere for a carrier.

I think they must have relaxed the retention offer.

@tonisage Yeah, when I tried on my mom's line this evening ($34/50GB Can/US), she got no retention offer either. And she's been a Public Mobile customer longer than I have.
I'm not sure if it was just this morning, or it's account specific. Several on Reddit posted success this morning as well though.

Tried it, no offer was given. I had to resubscribe.

@kb_mv what plan do you have?
02-21-2025 04:35 PM
@DennyCrane I did, went through and actually cancelled, no offer so I re subscribed.
02-21-2025 04:33 PM
Did you select a cancellation reason and then proceed to the next page?

I just tried, no offer forthcoming for me....
Edit: same plan as OP

I suppose it doesn't hurt to try. Just resbscribe if it doesn't work.

Found a cheaper plan elsewhere I think is what I selected.
02-21-2025 01:25 PM
thanks @DennyCrane
so, what reason you give them?
02-21-2025 01:09 PM
Could be, yeah. My plan is $35/75 GB Can/US/Mx with 1000 international LD minutes.

What plan do you have though? Maybe it's monetary retention directed.
