2GB Data Promotion Help

ashtoncable
Great Neighbour / Super Voisin

I've ordered a SIM and plan on switching to Public Mobile and I've noticed a promotion that offers 2GB of data for free for 6 months using the promo code 6MONTH2GB. If I want even more data and I upgrade my plan later down the line, will I still get the extra data promo?

Use 2GBBONUS - $35 or higher plans: "Bonus data will be applied for as long as you’re with us."

Use 12MONTHS2GB - $25 or higher plans "additional 2GB of data for free* for 12 months"

Use 6MONTH2GB - $35 or higher plans:"additional 2GB of data for free* for 6 months"

Is PM trying to make plans more attractive or more confusing?

Maybe just have a new suite of plans with additional 2GB of data on top of the current plans automatically (even if it is only temporary).

Let's go Public Mobile, push the limits and be the pioneer, instead of the follower.

If you upgrade later, you won’t get the promo. It is only offered to new activations with a $35 or more plan.

If you meet the minimum requirement now, I would suggest you contact the CS_Agent to add the bonus 2gb promo.

Here is another code for $25 plans and above:

12MONTHS2GB

Get an additional 2GB of data for free* for 12 months on plans $25/mo+ with promo code 12MONTHS2GB

I'll go out on a limb here and say so long as you move up in plans, you will not lose the promotional data.

@HALIMACS : Jade has previously confirmed and before that Alan that for as long as the plan stays at or above the threshold that the promo stays. Yes the wording is as usual and as always unclear. Ye old copy/paste. It's how the marketing department apparently likes it as it has ever been thus. (for as long as I remember)

Ideally will be if @ashtoncable contacts agent and gets official clarification.

Terms should be more clearly defined in layman terms: "Customer will lose promo if plan is downgraded but will keep promo to the end of promo duration if plan is upgraded." or something like that...

Did you register your email and get the email with the promocode from pm? The terms and conditions would be contained in the email. But there are still marketing accessible on the pm website that you can use the promocode for that should still work that will get you a recurring plan data bonus for a longer period of time. If you activate on a $35+ plan and use 2GBBONUS and it's accepted that promotion was confirmed by pm to allow upgraded plan changes to keep the recurring 2gb bonus plan data. With no expiry on that data bonus except a downgrade in plan that would be the first promocode you should try entering on the 4th page of the activation portal. I will find you the links to these other promotions for you to register and attempt to use their promo codes.

Edit:

Take a screenshot of this offer and click on pick a plan and scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the terms and conditions and screenshot that as well then activate on the same day ( Like today) and if the promocode is not accepted activate anyways then contact customer support to have them add the promocode 2GBBONUS.

As per promo conditions it looks like you will lose 2GB if you switch plan.

'Bonus data will expire if the account becomes inactive or the rate plan is changed. '

Nevertheless I would contact agent for clarification as you have to sign up for any $35+ plan and latter Upgrade it to even more expensive plan.

You should.

There was another promotion before, reoccurring 2GB Bonus, another customer raised this question and it was confirm by a CS Agent that as long as they remain on eligible plan ($35+ ) , then the bonus will stay.
