I switched to Public Mobile recently from Bell Mobility, and noticed while testing my phone that my caller ID/number shows up as a 22-digit number on other people's phones (including my old landline), even for local calls. Specifically, the last 11 digits are my actual phone number, and the first 11 digits are 18664254268 - Bell's toll free number. As a result of this, my calls are getting filtered out by a number of people as spam. I went back through call logs and noticed this issue occurred when I was with Bell, too.
I can set my phone to block my number out and transmit "unknown" instead, but it doesn't solve the problem; I still get blocked as a spam caller because my number can't be recognized. I know there's no way to set up name display on outbound calls on this network, but is there at least a way to set it up so it shows up as the correct 10-digit phone number?

Thanks. Already tried all three suggestions recently for another issue, with no change to this behaviour.

first, reboot the phone and Reset Network Settings and check if it fixes it
if not, try your sim card on another phone if it is a physical one. If it is esim, you can use the Public Mobile app and get a replacement sim card. The app might charge you $5, you can pay first and ask support to reimburse
last, you can ask support to refresh your account. submit a ticket with CS Agent using Chatbot here:
