It depends on when you ported out. If you ported out a day before your renewal date then you won’t be charged for the following month bill.
But if you ported out a day after your renewal date then of course you will be billed for the rest of the month.

This should not happen as porting out Deletes your account immediately.
Open a ticket and ask for refund and explanation why this occurred.
It will be nice if you come BACK here and provide agent's explanation and clarification.
