@Mike_1927 It should only cancel the one line you first transfer over , and keep the old provider account active until you have transferred the second line over then the whole account will be closed once you have successfully ported both number to public mobile

hi @Mike_1927
no worries, many tried that. when there is still a line there, the account itself wont be cancelled, just that line you ported out will be cancelled
So, after you ported one line into PM, your current carrier account will not be closed and will still have the 2nd line there that you have not ported out yet. When you ported out your 2nd line, then that account will be closed

I understand that when I sign up with Public they will cancel my old carrier’s account? So how do I make sure I will still be able to use the second phone number from my old carrier when I open a second new account with Public?
I understand I need 2 emails with public for 2 plans that’s ok! But it’s my 2 phone numbers I have on one plan with my OLD carrier I need to keep.
Thanks

You need to open TWO separate PM accounts (two unique emails, 2 SIMs, you can use ONE credit card to pay for both).
Then you will transfer one by one number to those 2 accounts. Do not make mistake to overwrite one transferred number with the second one...
BOTH party's accounts - current provider and PM accounts have to be active during transfer.

@Mike_1927 You can’t you will need to have to separate accounts for each phone number with a unique email for each account but can use the same payment method , but be sure to use the refferal code from first account to create the second account and reward both accounts win/win

HI @Mike_1927
PM system is simple, one email for one account. So, to move 2 numbers from another carrier, you need to use 2 different email addresses to create separate accounts.

you can't. Each account is a separate account needing a separate sim and email address. No "family plans" here.
