Thanks for sharing. Good deal for high volume data users. Hope there will be plan for 5-6 GB at a cheaper price.

Saying if you look at how it's written it's misleading. 50GB $55 Can/US or 30GB $45. It misleads you to believe the 30GB $45 plan is a Can/US plan as well.

@Chalupa_Batman what misleading ? so your WinBack deal not as good as PM deal afterall?

So I talked to the VIP department today and they said a lot of people are reading it out of context because it's misleading. So basically misleading is a Telus trait on all their service providers. How sad is that. He was shocked to hear how Public Mobile offers better plans than the VIP department of Telus though. LOL

That is the way I read it as well. I emailed the rep today and he stated the $45 was Canada Wide only. But 1. It doesn't really specify like the $50 does and usually when you have a clear message like that then follow up with $45 30GB it implies it's the same style of plan. I'm going to call the VIP number tomorrow and confirm.

With regards to the $5 off, that's included in the $50 and $12.

When I messaged him today I clipped screen shots of PM. I said... wow. It's interesting that a 3rd tier of Telus has better price plans than EPP which is supposed to be much better. He didn't have any comments on that. LOL

@Chalupa_Batman  I think it’s 50GB for $55 CAN /US plan and then 30GB for $45 plan . What’s unclear to me would be does the price in use the $5 off and the prices become $50 for the first plan and $40 for the second plan and is that $5 off just for 2 years and the plans actually go up $5 bucks do first plan $60 second plan $50 I’m thinking that’s more they case here and that Telus I take it ?

Just got this today in the mail. WOW! It's says a lot when Public Mobile is a tad better then an EPP plan.

EDIT: This is a bit misleading and not sure what to think. Is this 50GB Can-US $55 or 30GB Can-US $45 or just Canada $45? Thoughts @Handy1 @LitlLdy

I took the $40 30GB plan but should have taken the $50 40GB CAN/US plan. Anyway, Winback called and sadly the only offer they had was $65 50GB CAN/US plan. I'll pass. Not worth the $240 extra a year. I have $150 worth of credits with Telus so hopefully that plan comes back by the end of the year. I know PM has the exact same plan but... once you have the LTE watch as a free add on, it's really hard NOT to have it anymore. LOL

@Chalupa_Batman  Wow 30GB for $40 with Telus and if you have 4 lines you would pay $25 for each line and that’s 5G+ speed , I’d  be on that in a heart beat , and your welcome with the iPhone 15 pro max power of suggestion once you play with it , it gets harder to put it away and forget about !! 😉

That's what I did. They offered me two plans. $40 30GB Canada Wide or $50 40GB Can/US . Now I'm just waiting for them to call me back.

I finally talked some of my buddies to go to some Vikings games this year. Their wives were very reluctant. LOL Plus, in no part to @Handy1 but now I want the 15 Pro Max too. D*** YOU @Handy1 ... kidding. I saw it and played with it in the store and now want it.

Hi @Chalupa_Batman

you can actually call Telus back and they will honour the WinBack they offered you

I'm still scratching about grabbing that $50 40GB Can/US plan as it's VERY tempting. Waiting for a call from Win Back Telus. They offered the same thing to me a few weeks ago and I said no. Stupid me!!!

HI @will13am

and PM has more new plans just this year than all years combine too. 🤣

Totally.  I was on the 2016 fall promo into January of this year.  There was nothing better in the intervening years.  The dam broke and now we are being flooded with deals.

@LitlLdy  Don’t sweat it it’s fine , more info the better 🙂

@will13am  That’s funny me too , @LitlLdy  I purposely left that one out only because @J_PM  had mentioned this on thread earlier today and the plan you end up on is still that same 30GB for $40 after the trial period . But still nice of you to share thank you 🙂

@Handy1 , I didn’t see her announcement. I haven’t been hanging out on here today. Came on to check but saw your post 1st & I can’t delete my messages which now looks dumb. 😆
