Hi Community,

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the great conversations on the Community last month! The Community could not be such a great place to get support without you all.

We’d like to give a special thanks to all our members who earned Community Rewards for their contributions. These members were able to make a big impact and support their fellow Community members by providing detailed and high-quality solutions.

A huge thank you to our Oracles, who go above and beyond by not only starting healthy discussions but also help others to better understand our services and contribute to our awesome Community on a daily basis.

A big congrats to the 3 Community members who earned the Top 1% Reward. The daily work of these awesome folks is truly amazing!

And a big shout out as well to the 9 members who earned the Top 5% Reward and the 11 members who were in the Top 10%! Their contributions to the Community should not go unnoticed.

Together, the Community members in the top 1%, 5% and 10% had a total of 553 accepted solutions in September. Thank you all for your amazing work!

A monthly badge for your contribution level has been added to your Community profile.  A Community Reward will be given to all the contributors on a reward-eligible plan on your next payment due date.

Want to learn more about how to be a top contributor? Getting started is easy. All you have to do is give help to your fellow Community members, acknowledge solutions, and share ideas.  And, of course, your suggestions and feedback will help us create a better experience for everyone.

What Does It Mean To Be an Oracle?

The Oracles are a small group of Community members who have extensive knowledge about all things Public Mobile, and are passionate about making the Community a better place by helping our members. Oracles have used their knowledge to make a positive impact in the Community, by being helpful and providing constructive solutions and ideals, and their reward is legendary status—we view them as part tech wizard, part boy/girl scout, and part Jedi master.

You can always ask an Oracle for help with any problem, but please remember that they’re customers like you, and not Public Mobile employees.

The Oracle Program

What are the benefits of being an Oracle?

Being an Oracle has some pretty sweet perks:

• Access to new Community features, and the exclusive Oracle group.
• A welcome package filled with unique swag and cool goodies!
• Being the first to know about official Public Mobile news.
• Sneak-peeks at new Public Mobile projects and initiatives.
• The respect and admiration of the Community.
• And last, but not least, a $20 Community Reward every 30 days!

How to become an Oracle

The first step in becoming an Oracle is to create a Community account and start getting involved. This means asking and answering questions, offering solutions, and giving Bravos to helpful members. Every three months, we take a look at the Community’s most active members and consider them for the Oracle program.

Here’s some tips to help you stand out and get noticed:

• High quality content is far more important than high quantity.
• Give constructive feedback to Public Mobile, because we appreciate that.
• Finally, maintain a positive attitude towards others.

Note that Public Mobile employees are not eligible to join the Oracle team.

How long do you stay an Oracle and can Oracles lose their status?

• When we look for new Oracles, we also review our current team.
• The title ‘Oracle’ is one to aspire to: only a chosen few earn the right to use it. Oracles retain their status by keeping up their great work, producing high quality content, and staying positive and helpful in the Community.
• The number of posts, Bravos, and Accepted Solutions help us determine if Oracles have been supporting the Community.
• Oracles also need to follow the same Community Terms of Service as all other members, or their status will be revoked.

With travelling the world being a big part of our reason for living and since we are close to fully retired now we had been really stepping up the travel. At the end of the month we will be a full year since last disembarking a cruise ship. And travelling doesn’t get easier the older you get. Take note readers.... if you want to travel do as much as possible in your younger years. So at least we had much more time this summer to spend at our cabin.... which is in Washington State (que the Buzzer sound). Our yard at home got more (badly needed) attention this summer than ever before. <end of 2020 recap>
